Language Extras
Language Extras allows forum admins to dynamically change the "lang" attribute and language pack for individual nodes or globally. This works well if you'd like one particular node to use a different language than the rest of the forum. Some admins of English speaking boards may also wish to use localised subtags or non-localised instead of the generic locale used in XF of "en-US".
For example using "en" alone to cover all English speaking countries, or region specific such as English speaking Australia "en-AU". This is particularly important if you wish to only focus on a localised country rather than world wide.

Notes Common mistakes
Example usage
Once installed, In each Node setting ( Forums - Nodes - ) you will find a couple of extra options, One to change the language pack for that particular node, the other to add a custom attribute.
If you want to use a custom attribute globally, instead of using a locale language pack, for example en-au which isnt available via a language pack. You can use the custom attribute setting which can be found at ( Setup - Options - Appearance - Default Custom Language Attribute )
The above will set that setting globally ( individual nodes can still override this setting )
Important
Please note, this is considered only for advanced admins that understand how this can affect your board in search engines, it can have negative effects should you use it in the wrong way.

Notes Common mistakes
- Incorrect language codes: Make sure that all language codes you use identify the language (in ISO 639-1 format) and optionally the region (in ISO 3166-1 Alpha 2 format) of an alternate URL. Specifying the region alone is not valid.
