Hi,
I had a website which was focussing on my local business as well as ring to push my services national. There were content pages/blogs etc, some of those were focused on my local business/keywords etc and some of those were focused on the national aspect of the business.
I have split the website to focus on both sides individually. So there is a new domain focussing on my local business and a new domain focussing on our national effort.
The issue I am facing is the original website has had a lot of work done and a fair bit of traffic. I dont want to lose all this work.
Is it possible and feasible to do a 301 direct from a domain to two separate domains?
The pages which i feel are relevant to my local business will be redirected from original.com to local.com and the pages relevant to the national side will 301 from original.com to national.com
I wanted some help before I approach an expert to deal with this as I don't want to look like a complete numpty.
