Hi guys,
I just discovered the forum while in need, searching, for advice regarding, potential, improvements on my website. Some thoughts started emerging, after I noticed very sharp loss of organic traffic since mid March - very likely, somehow, affected by the March 12th Google's core update.
It is quite frustrating to see this happening, especially after all the effort I invested over the years - being outranked by new websites, within the same niche, pumped up with very spamy baklinks (I did some homework).
One of the ideas that occurred in my mind was - Would it help if I simplify my website by removing pages such as Fine art photography and All the travel and street portfolios, leaving only the commercial work as my main keywords (of the home page) revolve around "London professional Portrait and Headshots photographer".
If yes, what will be the more practical way to utilize the removed content - on a separate domain or sub-domain (using the removed content).
Any suggestions and recommendations are welcomed.
Thanks,
Nikolay.
