I'm seeing huge google changes today & a lot of websites moving position, a lot of prominent local businesses in my industry going from first page to being very hard to find.

Also noticed that google is showing far more irrelevant results like printers in the U.S rather than the UK.

Anyone else noticed the change? How has it affected you?

Well for the search term we monitor "printing services + area" there's been huge changes in organic results. Multi million pound local printers dropping from 1st page to page 5 & Facebook pages outranking well optimised websites with lots of citations.

Can't wait to get off work so I can try work out why it's all changed.

I've noticed similar in regards to facebook and other social pages outranking well optimised competing sites, but thats been a few weeks since that's started. Like wise with some random US branded searches landing on localised Branded search terms.

Have a dive in and keep us updated on what you find.

My insights in gmb says Google are mostly showing us for the term "next" which is a big clothing store in the UK. I've not been able to replicate though we do get occasional calls about collecting blouses etc.

Used the feedback inside insights but nothings changed so far.

Anything else I can do?

Recently added a good json schema...maybe that'll help?

Few of my colleagues are experiencing huge fluctuations for their keywords. For example: If say, today the keyword is at 10th position then it may stay at 10th position for couple of days, only to drop down to 90+ for the next few days! It may again take some days to return to top 20 spot. Once it returns, it shall stay there for few days; again to follow the same trait.

I am not sure whether it is happening because of the Google's algorithmic amendments!
