Old linking methods can still be beneficial for SEO, although the way search engines view them may have changed. It's important to ensure that any link-building activities you undertake are from high quality, authoritative sources, and that the links added are relevant to the content you're publishing. Additionally, it's also important to ensure that you are following all applicable laws and regulations regarding link-building activities. Ultimately, it depends on your specific SEO goals, as well as the type of content you're creating.

The short answer is, yes. Google's algorithms are always adapting to ensure the content it shows users are relevant to their search query. Google will determine the relevancy of a website partly based on the quality and quantity of its backlinks

Old linking methods, like excessive reciprocal links or link farms, have lost their value in today's SEO landscape. Search engines now prioritize high-quality, relevant, and natural backlinks. Pursuing outdated linking practices can harm your site's ranking and reputation. To improve SEO, focus on creating valuable content and acquiring genuine, contextually relevant links from authoritative sources. While old methods may have once worked, they are no longer worth pursuing in the modern digital marketing environment.

In my experience, mixing old-school techniques with fresh strategies works like a charm. To upgrade, try guest blogging, influencer outreach, and content partnerships for robust backlinking. Also, stay tuned with industry trends for innovative methods. Cheers!
