I was in your shoes I would run a Facebook campaign due to the cost and targeting options.

1) You will need a Facebook fan/business page
2) You can target Real Estate keyword in Facebook advertising
3) You will save loads of money since advertising on google or twitter will cost you so much more!

What is the aim of the project? is it to drive traffic to a page? To sell rooms or houses? because if it is to advertise rooms/properties with that you would be better off looking at Zoopla and other real estate services, to be honest, or even a free version of Facebook properties or SpareRoom!
