Hello
I’m new to SEO, but want to be aggressive with my learning, and want to leave no stone unturned. ( I apologise for the really long post!). I’ve stumbled across a few things i’m unsure about and could do with some advice.
From my keyword research, there are quite a lot of long tail keyword questions that I could write content about (on my blog) and then use internal links which would hopefully drive the customer to make a transactional purchase about the product/service I was writing about, for example : ‘ The 5 best running shoes in 2022’ - then a link back to my product page selling running shoes.
The issue I am struggling with is whether I write a piece of content for each one of these long tail keyword questions (with low competition) and try and rank for each one of them (with appropriate title and meta tags).
OR : Is is better to write a long piece of content targeting all the questions about the same relevant topic ?
For example: all the long tail keywords are grouped like this :
- How much are the best running shoes?
- How long do running shoes last?
- Where can I find a discount for running shoes?
- How often should you change your running shoes? etc etc
Sometimes I look at my niche (not running shoes, i just used as an example) and the questions which have good search volumes, low competition but I don’t know what to do as I’m not sure all the long tail keywords require a separate piece of content.
I’m a little confused on this, and would appreciate your thoughts and advice. Thank you
