Keyword Density is the percentage of times a keyword or a word or a phase appear in a webpage to thew total number of words in that webpage. it should be 2-3% in an content. More than that consider spam by the search engine.

I think Ideal keyword density is 1-3% with a combination of semantic and LSI keywords.

I'm genuinely surprised that people are still talking about keyword "density".

If the writer is good enough, they will get the keywords in the content naturally.
