Different Websites with Same Address & Same Services

I am working on two websites of the same owner, all of the services mentioned into the websites are same, the address is same. Even the strategy I implemented was same. But only one website is working well according to the efforts I am making. Can anyone please tell how do I rank the 2nd Website too?

Is the ranking facing issues because of the same address?

Same address may be the reason. Represent your website separately to Google. Please check the followings:

• Use two different servers and hosting for your two websites.
• Services can be the same, but content should be different and unique.
• Don’t create backlinks in between these two websites
• Backlinks should be from different websites.
• The design should not be the same.
