Do you trust thosse "Earn easy money online" sites

We all know the ones: "Sandra makes $5000 a day working for us." So, do you trust any of them? I personally do not.

Of course, that's a scam. It's not possible to earn $5000 a day with a work at home scheme. If it were, i'd have discovered the secret formula years ago. Their secret if any is convincing people to buy 'the secret'. Of course, there are legitimate ways to earn money such as blogging with Adsense, affiliate sales and even selling on Ebay. But all that takes effort. And, the people who buy into this kind of scam are looking for the easy way to make money not the legitimate way.

In most cases, I don't. But I know a few guys that made a website like this which is not a scam. You can earn there. True, not very much, but you can earn.

I voted for "Some of them are trustworthy". I do think that some, not all, are a totally legit way of earning alot of money. Some just take alot of work to get right & well, just because of the fact people think they are All scams, people tend to stay away from them.

I never trust them - don't waste your time unless you want to earn "approximately 0.001 cents" with pay to click/survey sites.
"Easy money" sites seriously damage peoples belief that money can be made online - which is not true it can be - but it relies on several key factors, in specialist fields (such as building websites and selling products etc.).

• the person's desire and momentum.
• the person's personality
• the person's skills in the particular field

Some ways to properly make money, have already been mentioned:

blogging with Adsense, affiliate sales and even selling on Ebay.

Others I can think of:
Sell services (such as: graphics design, programming etc.) either through freelance websites, fiverr, forums etc. or on your own.

Build up a twitter/social network fan page dedicated to a certain popular music band or singer and collect a crowd of followers by giving out lots of info on that particular pop-star and market the page with tools such as Twitterfeed and Tweepi, then when you have lots of people watching your updates - sell tickets with affiliate links.

Refer.ly - Pay to sign up site (with a difference) that's just recently started, ($1 per signup) easy to advertise it by saying its new and $1 to sign up (like i am now!!)

There are loads of real ways of making money, just many people don't realise it!

Any sites that state that you can earn easy money from home I would never trust, they either don't give you what they are offering on the adverts or on the main site or you get paid very little for alot of work. I don't believe there is any easy way to be able to earn money and if there was surely we would know about it and there wouldn't be so many adverts about them. I can imagine so many people would have fallen for these scams which is a shame.

99.9% of all of these websites are simple scams. They only pick random numbers of money and scam people out of their money. I definitely hate these extremely long websites and usually just read their Terms of Service, which are hilarious!

While there *is* someone who is probably making that much money, it's not going to be you. It's the people at the top of the pyramid scheme who have recruited a ton of people underneath them....who have in turn, recruited even more people below them. The money really adds up for those top guys, but nobody else.

I have considered setting up my own PTC site. Have you had any experience setting one up?

I voted no. There are ways of earning money online, but it requires effort.

You'll probably make more money signing up for mechanical Turk and working for Amazon that you will with your own PTC site. Heck I bet you'll make more getting people to download a custom toolbar from conduit.com that from your own PTC site.

They are overdone and classically under perform imo.

Most of them use exaggerated marketing blurb to draw people in, and the vast majority are just scams. Things like online surveys, yes you can make money from them, but a very small number do as it takes a lot of work and is boring.

I know one company that I recommend to my forums, but I'm not spamming it here

The best thing to do with these sites is check for comments on independent forums rather than reading marketing reviews.

Yes, I've fallen for the online survey scams that say you can make around $500 a month through their site. I've also paid to use one of these sites but I got my money back after I wasn't happy with the site was offering.
