Ever had any run ins with google?

Never had a problem with google when I used to have my site. It was a while ago though, I'd say in 2007. Back then Google never really had a lot of updates and such.

What about Google image search. Now that they hotlink are you having troubles with them? Bandwidth? Image theft?

There is an interesting discussion developing on istock about Google basically stealing images. They bought the rights to images that were stolen apparently.

I can say though that google has become somewhat more greedy and more unreliable. Advertising ads in your email account on gmail, because they go through your messages and display ads based on what your email is about.

Nope, no problem with Google so far.

I have only used whitehat and legit techniques for building all the backlinks for my projects.
Working well so far.

I absolutely agree with you!!
I hate all the ads that they have started placing all over the place.

We really need more competition for Google.
