Question Frequency of adding new content ?

How frequently do you think you should push out new content to your site in order for Google to see that you are producing "fresh content"?

I used to hear that once a week was enough, but now I'm hearing completely opposite ends of the spectrum. Some people are saying that once a week isn't enough at all and others are saying that you really only have to put it out once a month (strictly SEO-speaking here....not taking into account what is good for real viewers).

Without taking the viewers into account, once a week sounds like a good mark to push out new content. Google thinks very highly of your visitors so keeping them happy with fresh and relevant content will assist in your visibility.
