Google Search Console - performance dip

Hi Guys - I've recently taken a look at my Google Search Console Performance and noticed a huge dip that started mid May (I know, I should pay more attention). I'm just wondering if Google made any significant changes to it's algorithms around this time. No major changes have been made to the website so I'm a little befuddled as to why this dip occurred. Incidentally, the lower performance has remained at the low level since.
I can't say that I have noticed much difference in organic conversions or traffic.
I have attached a screen-grab.
Any ideas?
Many Thanks
Andy

Yeah some pretty significant core algo updates whilst you were gone, I'm afraid, preceded by an indexing bug, updates to Quality Rater Guidelines, among other things. YMYL sites (health/gambling/money) especially affected.

Welcome back...

(Would link you up but I haven't posted enough here to be allowed to post links - just search "Google algorithm updates" and go to Moz or other result for an overview of the various updates this year.)

Thank you SEOlly
Well that makes sense.
Hmm.. ok i'll spend some time on this tomorrow.
Having done a quick search, there seems a lot to read up on.
Our company site is an e-commerce platform selling testing equipment so I'm wondering what and why we would have been impacted.
Either way, i'll dig deeper tomorrow and post back.
A big thank you for replying.

NP. Do the reading and see what you find. If ecommerce then I would think about structured data (Schema Markup, etc.) and "local SEO" updates. But this probably isn't any one thing, if you're not on this stuff regularly.
