Hi,
I have noticed on a list of keywords that I am tracking that the UK SERPS are becoming saturated with multiple URL's from just one domain.
For example one of the SERPS I am tracking in the UK right now is 'superdry sale'. If you do a quick search you will see on p1&2 the retailer House of Fraser is shown 4 or 5 times.
I'm trying to get some clarity as to why this is happening all of a sudden.
They are a pretty big retailer so they do command a lot of authority.
However it seems only recently that they are getting multiple results on p1&2.
I know that it is normal for the retailer 'Superdry' to rank 3 or 4 URL's for something like 'superdry sale'.
I'm just wondering if this is a change in google's algorithm, that they will only rank more trustworthy sites now.
Also is there a good tool to use to find out how these big sites are ranking multiple URL's?
These pages also don't have any external backlinks going to them, so it must be their on page seo that's opening them up to getting 4 or 5 results in SERPS right?
My hypothesis is that google are filling their p1&2 results with more URL's from trustworthy high DA sites.
Any thoughts would be helpful.
Thanks,
Liam
