How did you learn to program?

I started programming with HTML, since I was using the Joomla content management system and wanted to change some basic things, such as links, images, tables and other. I have learned HTML and CSS at www.w3schools.com, but how did you learn to program?

I just learn program by YouTube tutorials...
it's free of cost, atlast i went to a dumb institute to learn more.

I used the Internet There are a lot of useful tutorials with examples, and great youtube videos. That's the first step. Then you go to the next step, and download codes, and read them. When you fully understand what is written, it means you learned it well.
