How do "SEO" companies find your site?

Hi all,
It maybe a silly question but I have never come across an answer for it.

So I have built really niche websites before. Little one pagers for clients who don't have a lot of money or don't want anymore that online presence and therefore not destined to rank well.

However within a day? I have had on page forms filled in by outsourced Indian SEO companies. They know the platform it is built on and have an analysis as well.

How do they find sites these sites? Surely they aren't just Googling "cement pointing specialist in Wimborne" what tools are they using?

They didnt randomly find the site, bots and scrapers hit every URL possible looking for forms and places to spam.

Just install a good spam captcha on the form and you'll be fine.

Indians are very aggressive in this field. They have their own communities and, of course, a wide range of crawling tools they use. These days, it won’t be too hard for them to find you.
