How to Increase the UX of our website for Software service company

Just as the title states, I am looking to increase the user experience of our website on both desktop and mobile. Our profession is in the Software service industry and I like the design of our main competitors website who dominates our niche. I'm not looking to straight up copy it but I think this is something that would increase our websites overall growth and strength,please share your opinion on this
