Internal Link to filter category

Hi everyone,

I run a ecommerce website and some of my filtered categories are ranking on Google.
I have seen that some competitors are creating guide and adding internal links to filtered categories to improve the keyword ranking.
Do you think it's a good strategy?

There is nothing wrong with internal linking to enhance user experience, but in my opinion you shouldnt be alllowing filtered results to be indexed.

If a filtered result is used alot then you should consider creating a landing page specifically for that product/service/categorisation.
