Hi everyone,
Lately, I have been doing intensive keyword research is really beneficial or not?
According to me if you know who is your target audience and for what industry you going to write your content about then the correct words will automatically appear in your keyword. Then, what is the need of doing keyword research?
I'm not saying to completely ignore but instead of listing keywords separately one can easily read and learn from other people blogs and use the correct words in one's content.
Also, I'm not talking about paid searches and Ads.

Share with me what opinions do you have?
Also, tell me what metrics do you guys observe while performing keyword research such as search volume, competition, etc. for creating content with the perspective of SEO.

I appreciate your point but search engine work according to keywords and quality content.

we cant drop any of the stages which are provided by a search engine. Keywords are used to boost your article.

Using the keyword in meta's and in the article we guide or help the google crawler what kind of data or article is.

Basically, the keyword is for google crawler as well as the user.

Thank you onebasemedia for replying to the thread I really appreciate it. Yes, you are right Search Engine Optimization does not exist. Obviously for headings and Meta tags you require to do keyword searches but to what extent do the effect your content. I mean, how much time should be invested in doing the keyword search.

Keywords plays an important role on your website. At the start of your website, you must focus more on keyword selection and combination of keywords. According to my strategy at the initial level, you can do keyword research. As per your requirement of keywords like short tail, long-tail keywords. For a blog, you choose the long-tail keywords. (Ex. how to unblock a drain). For any keyord which have medium to the high competition, it will take 3 to 6 month.

You are quite right, but I believe targeted keywords can be enough and extra keywords only burden you with extra work. Longtail keywords make it easier to rank but it is better to use targeted ones.

A good strategy concerning keywords is to check your Google Search Console regularly to see which search phrases you are already ranking for that you haven't targeted. You can then add those phrases to your content to improve your ranking for them.

Keyword research is essential

Finding the local words for whatever you do is the key to money

Ex, in Dublin end of tenancy cleaning is a very broad word. But initial cleaning, that means the same thing, is a very unknown word within the industry. But people search for it big time

There you are

Best keywords can be selected using Google keyword planner. It is the best free tool for high quality keyword research. They help to provide various keyword suggestions for your domain, and selecting the right keywords will help to rank your website higher in search results.

Keyword research is about helping to understand how users will try to find you. As a car dealership you might use the term "Pre-loved Vehicles" on your website, but that's not how a user is going to try to find you. A user is going to search for "used cars". Keyword research will help you find this disconnect between how you talk about your product, service or content versus how your potential customers or readers will think about it. The combination of search volume and competition should be used to decide how to write your content and what keywords to use in URLs, title, headings and meta. Skip keyword research at your peril.

crazy talk

keywords are the cornerstone of any money site.

neil patel's ubbersuggest is a good starting point for h tags, keyword variations in the text, alt tags, link anchor text, links in (off-page)

you forget, in seo google tells us what people are searching for and how many searches you'll get, but you have to build it for the to come too. finished is better than perfect

I track keyword ranks daily. Mostly I pay attention to such indicators as country, language and device. Use Google Search Console, Kparser and other tools to research the most valuable keywords for your business. Check how many keywords your website had on top 1, top 3, top 10, top 30, top 50 search engine positions in different periods, and learn more about actions that lead to growth. It helps you to evaluate SEO strategy and change it if it does not.

Hi there,

It's great that you're thinking about the role of keyword research in SEO. While it's true that knowing your target audience and industry can help you identify relevant keywords, conducting keyword research can still be valuable in uncovering additional relevant keywords and understanding search volume and competition for those keywords. Additionally, conducting keyword research can also help you identify long-tail keywords, which can be valuable for niche audiences.

In terms of metrics to consider during keyword research, search volume and competition are important factors to consider. It's also important to consider keyword relevance, as well as user intent and searcher behavior. By taking these metrics into account, you can identify the most valuable and relevant keywords to target in your content.
