Linking My Own Sites

Hi

I have few websites. I read somewhere that i should link well all my sites between itself. Then i read another articol that was saying that if you link websites coming from the same hosting account is a bad idea. Will be seen as spam. Anyone has any opinion?

I only link to my own website when it makes sense. For example, I have linked to my own sites from my portfolio or I do it when I write an article and have something topically relevant written on another site. Haven't run into any problem with this practice so far.

I haven't done that yet, but I've heard from friends who have had experience that this will build a link network and Google will suspect this.
This is called spam.

Yes, you can create some link in between your own websites those are from the same hosting. But it should be limited and relevant. Creating backlink using this technique is not SEO-friendly so, it will be better not to create. Form next time I will suggest you buy your hosting from a different server so that you will get different IP’s.

I’ve linked a few but in different ways, not always the home page, sometimes I use the nofollow link attribute, others sites I’ve taken offline I just placed a clickable link, just my choice

Not had any problems yet, I get a few referrals from them but not many.
