New Website advice!

Hi
We need a website for our business less than 10 pages with the generic, home, about us, content then contact
We have had 2 websites built for us in the last 3 years spent over 4,000 and both websites were not used. One of them built on a old server so couldn't be updated and other problems etc.
So we have been without a website for 6 months because we do not trust spending again and having the same problems

WE need a website soon,
Where does anyone recommend we can build a website are there any good building websites like wix etc but I've been told there not very good for seo
We have looked at people per hour but again the designers didn't do any seo

We know how to use word press, although we are not experts and would rather leave it to a professional, but so far we have been ript off.

Hi sorry you've had to experience poor providers in the past.

To be honest its probably the result of how you are finding them, freelancers on such sites as People per hour have very little responibility to actually care for their customers, although there are some good guys on those sites, if your budget is low, there is a huge pond of people who will gladly take your money and are in-experienced in both dealing with customers and dealing with whats right for their customers.

Stay clear of Wix if your serious about getting your business online and visible, Wordpress is a great platform but id recommend a self hosted site, not one using wordpress.com.

If you've got a sensible budget and are still looking for someone to do the site for you, I'd also be happy to take a look at your requirements.
