Hi,

We have a large blog which is attached to our main business site. We have had content writers over the years and some have been good with SEO and others not so. We have also had many seo freelancers work on the site, however with the latest google updates we are now really struggling to find an SEO freelancer who we feel confident with. We are looking at making the most of the rich snippets and need someone to optimise our blog (wordpress) and really help get our site ranking well for all the posts we have created. So we are ideally looking for some decent recommendations as we are out of ideas as to how to find a decent on page SEO expert who doesnt cost the earth, reliable, friendly and can work with us on 1 - 2 - 1 basis? Any ideas people?

Are you using any kind of SEO plugin? Some of them come with automatic content analysis that tells you exactly what to change on your site to improve on-page SEO. Aside from that, there are guides out there how to optimize your WordPress SEO that you can easily follow, such as: https://websitesetup.org/wordpress-seo/.

Good content man

If you write a "proper" 2000-3000 words article, even if you dont add meta or keywords, you will rank well

Phrase-based indexing has had a significant impact on on-page SEO practices. This indexing method goes beyond simply recognizing keywords and takes into account the context and semantic relationships between words and phrases on a webpage. By understanding the meaning behind the content, search engines can better assess the relevance and quality of a page.

This means that optimizing content for on-page SEO now involves creating natural, user-focused content that incorporates relevant phrases and synonyms rather than just stuffing keywords. As a result, websites that employ phrase-based indexing techniques are more likely to rank higher in search engine results pages, providing a better user experience and driving increased organic traffic to their site.

If you're struggling to find a reliable and cost-effective on-page SEO expert for your WordPress blog, here are a few suggestions:

  1. Seek recommendations: Ask for recommendations from friends, colleagues, or fellow bloggers who have had positive experiences with on-page SEO experts. They may be able to refer you to someone they trust.
  2. Online platforms: Consider exploring online platforms like freelancing websites or SEO-specific communities. These platforms often have user reviews and ratings that can help you find professionals with a good track record.
  3. Review portfolios and testimonials: When evaluating potential SEO experts, review their portfolios and testimonials from previous clients. This can give you insights into their skills, experience, and client satisfaction levels.
  4. Communication and collaboration: Look for an on-page SEO expert who is willing to work closely with you on a one-on-one basis. Effective communication and collaboration are crucial for understanding your unique needs and ensuring the optimization aligns with your goals.
  5. Budget considerations: Determine your budget for SEO services and discuss pricing and deliverables upfront with potential experts. This will help you find someone who meets your requirements without exceeding your budget.
  6. Expertise and knowledge: Assess the expertise and knowledge of the SEO experts you're considering. Ask them about the latest on-page SEO techniques, their understanding of Google's updates, and their approach to optimizing blogs. This can help you determine their ability to adapt and stay up-to-date with industry changes.
Remember to conduct interviews or consultations with potential experts to discuss your specific requirements and goals. This will help you gauge their expertise, reliability, and friendliness.

I hope these ideas help you find a suitable on-page SEO expert who can optimize your blog and improve your search engine rankings

To amp up your onsite SEO, start with killer content that's relevant and engaging. Optimize your meta tags, use descriptive URLs, and don't forget about mobile-friendliness. Internal links are your buddies, and keep an eye on site speed. Keep it natural, and you'll climb those search rankings!
