PDF Downloads on separate page?

I'm working on a site currently where they have pdfs on a separate page from the rest of the content, under a 'download tab'. Would it be best to have these pdfs on the same page as the rest of the related content? thanks

Hello,
Where a .pdf(s) has content that is similar to, or expands on the information on a particular page, my approach would be to offer it via a link on that page.
Would it be worth suggesting it to see what reaction you get?

I have to agree with @Elyman - if the PDF content is contextually relevant it would be beneficial to link it from the related content. There isn't a reason you can't have a dedicated download section as well if this is a strong user path. There is definitely a user experience question in play about having easy access to any download you require without having to find the relevant page of content it is applicable to (and if you need more than one download, being able to access several from the same page would be highly preferable to having to go and 'collect' then from several locations throughout a site).
