Question about YouTube

There are alot of christian videos on Youtube like Joel Olsteen and TD jakes and was wondering how are people making money from uploading those videos? You can't put ads on channel until your a partner right so how are they making money?

There's a built in partnership with Youtube themself, you don't have to be partnered with a specific network to actually earn money. However, the built in partnership pays significantly less since it's just an approval process until you can find a better network to join.
