Require Help Appearing in Search Engines

First of all I feel as though a main factor for not appearing in search results would be my homepage having the /index.html path clashing with my domain which is without a path and has just /.

  1. Troubleshooting steps taken:
    • I’ve audited my site for SEO and performance using Google Search Console and Lighthouse.
    • Cleaned up redirect loops and confirmed proper canonical tags, especially for the homepage.
    • Implemented structured data and schema markup manually for improved indexing.
    • Tuned caching policies through Cloudflare and minimized render-blocking resources to improve LCP.
    • Attempted to integrate IndexNow as prompted by webmaster via a workaround, since Weebly doesn't natively support it.
  2. Error messages:
    • I’m not receiving direct error messages from Weebly, but Search Console has flagged issues with indexing consistency, and Bing Webmaster Tools shows limited URL submissions being processed.
  3. SEO-specific issues:
    • Yes—my site isn’t appearing as expected in search results despite optimization efforts. I suspect it’s a combination of technical limitations in Weebly and incomplete visibility across search engines. For instance, inability to upload files to the root directory is impacting verification processes.
Let me know if there's a way to expose key files or API interactions more directly, or if Square has any internal tools or workarounds I can use to integrate better with search engines. I'm working hard to align my site with SEO best practices and would really appreciate any extra insight you can offer.
