Search engines should show "Posts" in search results?

Hello,
I have an online shopping website.
I'm using Yoast SEO to optimize my SEO and I'm not sure about one thing:

I know search engines should show 'products' and 'pages' but how about 'posts' that write in my Blog section, general information about the industry I'm in?
Should I turn it off? Would my business benefit at all from my 'posts' in my blog to be shown by search engines?

My advice is to index everything on your site unless it is duplicated or thin content so you should definitely index posts

I also did some search and got the same respond. Common consensus is, even if you have a woo-commerce website it's a good idea to enrich your blog with articles so that people can find you one way or another.

You're absolutely right. Inculcating words in your blog section that share relevant information makes your audience learn about your business in a much better way.
