SEO For Ecommerce Newbie

Hi All,

I have a e-com company in the baby niche and we make most of our revenue through Amazon but we're now trying to expand through our website.

We've got some great keywords to target but I'm a complete newbie to seo so I'm learning on the job... My question is:

It's been suggested I create a blog showing a comparison of products in addition to optimising my actual product pages - How would you do this without coming across insincere to the reader since we have vested interest? If not this how would you go about ranking for keywords around your product?

Thanks in advance for your help everyone :)

I want to suggest to you some best E-commerce SEO tips:

Choose Effective Keywords
Keywords are long-tail keywords that your target audience typed into a search engine like Google or Bing.

These keywords can be found using a variety of free and paid web tools, such as Ahrefs. You may also conduct some research using your search engine like Google supplies certain keywords via SERPs "People Also Ask," automatic keywords via the Autocomplete function, and so on.

SEO Product Description
Your users are customers who want to acquire a specific product in the quantity and quality that they require. The graph below illustrates how your product description should be written.

Content Creation & Avoid Duplication
Users' needs for understanding, learning, and engaging with your product and services are met by content on an eCommerce website.

As a result, your e-commerce website's content must mirror purchasers' purpose, resulting in your content strategy and marketing plan merging into one.

Anchor Text & Link Building
A clickable section of a website's or web page's links or URLs is called anchor text. It is a self-explanatory phrase that is utilized to increase the strength of your domain in the digital market.

According to SEO experts, anchor texts used within or externally on your website now present your consumers with a highlighted option and useful links.

Https & URL Redirects
The data exchanged between a user's browser and a store's server is protected using HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure).

It serves as the primary protocol for financial transactions, communication, and data submission in a secure environment.

Traffic is the most needed and also, the toughest task when you are an e-commerce website. Though not unachievable. So, If you want to know more about E-commerce SEO strategies then read this article. E-Commerce SEO Tips For Websites That Actually Works
