SEO Plugin for Wordpress

On my Wordpress website I use the Yoast SEO plugin (free version).

On the home page I am limited to add just one keyword. Is there another free popular SEO plugin that would allow me to add more than one keyword on the home page?

The focus keyword is only guiding you, to be honest I dislike the traffic light system because it encourages users to narrow their views on what they should be focusing on. It does nothing other than guide you.

If you are happy with the keyword focus for one keyword, simply change it to another keyword and optimise for that that phrase, changing back to the original phrase to ensure your edits have not hindered anything.

Just remember you are writing for real people, not search engines.

The focus keyword, is what the trafflic light system in yoast uses to check off certain scores. Its just guiding you to a reasonable standard of on-page SEO and writing styles. Nothing more.

Hi, it's a bit of an old question, but the topic is still up to date.

First of all, keyword doesn't make any sense to google anymore.
However, the number of focus keywords can be used as 4 in Rank Math. I also used Yoast for 3 years and Yoast Premium for 2 years.
I have 3 years of experience with Rank Math. I have used all in seo for more than 6 years in very old years.

Based on my experience, I can safely say that Rank Math is the best Wordpress seo plugin right now.
