Sharp rise in bounce rate

I have a site that has, historically, a very low bounce rate. Mid November, 2019 it started to degrade and is now very high >50%

Just wondered if anyone else has seen anything like this on their site?

Have you checked Analyitcs to see what pages have started producing higher than normal bounce rates ? Can you see any obvious signs as to whats causing it ? Can you identify the kind of traffic which is hurting you the most and what referrer they carry ?

It could be a number of things from junk traffic, problems the page or ranking for a phrase which doesnt provide what the users intent satifies.
