I am looking for some advice on sitemaps

Currently i have






My question is can I remove the page-sitemap.xml because it seems I have two sitemaps on my site.

page-sitemap.xml & /sitemap_index.xml... sitemap_index.xml is the one i want to use but want to check before deleting page-sitemap.xml that i shouldnt need it?

You currently use Yoast SEO, so they seperate their sitemaps into seperate entities.

/sitemap_index.xml - Is the primary which contains links to all the others you mention.

So all are required. If you remove your page-sitemap, you are essentially removing your pages section in wordpress from the sitemap
