Hello,
A quick question about SEO for online Marketplaces:
I have an online Marketplace that sells one off items (for example: one off pieces of artwork, sculptures, etc. by local artists), does leaving sold listings live on your website (albeit with a 'SOLD' tag showing) help or hinder SEO?
As an example, ebay allows the user to search completed/sold items through a filter. Wayfair list all sold out/out of stock items at the bottom of their listings in each category.
The items on my site are one-offs and may be on the site for a matter of days, weeks or months before being sold, so will leaving their item pages 'live' (but clearly marked as sold) help build my SEO rankings?
Many thanks for any advice.
