Struggling to index a specific page

Hello,

SO I have been doing SEO on this site for the past few months now, and it has been going great. However, just recently i have come across a problem. I wondering if anyone has had a similar experience on this issue.

The Issue: a page on my website will not index for a desired keyword.
Page History: I was previously indexed for this keyword on a different page that was basically marked up wrong. This page averaged at like position 99 at the time. I have removed this page and optimised the canonical and redirect to the new page. The above mentioned page is a month old.

Google search console also does not flag any issues.


Any idea what could be stopping this page from being indexed at this time?
