Hi guys,
i am pretty new here but i want to make contribution and learn from you.
This week i started a project/experiment or a game with my team at work, maybe better game, about the SERP.
The game is really simple: rank for random keyword (short) and another long-tail keyword. The keywords are: Catenserpy and How to make a Catenserpy.
the winner is the one that is going to reach the first position on the SERP within 5 days.
there are 5 different teams and each with a website, you can check also the others by the SERP, so, each one of the team has to create content, links and optimize to rank.
The thing is that our department is full of SEO specialists and isn't enough normal optimization but you have to step ahead.
So, this is an experiment/game where we will understand how we can rank for certain keywords... I believe the concept is the same but you have more competition within those keywords.
At the end of this experiment, we will create a specific article where we explain what we did and what are the conclusions of this. Also, no paid techniques and neither black hat ones.
I would love to hear from you about this game.
