Website disappeared from Google!

We have a long-established (20 years+) e-commerce website that until October ranked very well organically in Google for many search terms, in most cases it was within the top 3 results. Pretty much overnight it has been heavily de-ranked and even when you search for the name of the website doesn't even appear.

The website site map is ok with 7500+ pages discoverable, 7.88k pages indexed in google console, no issues detected in manual actions or security issues. I can see in the performance on search results it has fallen off a cliff since October 2024.

Can anyone suggest why this might be and what could be happening here?

Additionally, we also have 9 other versions of the same website all with identical content and products, hosted on the same server with the same IP address, the only difference between the sites is the domain name, logo and CSS files - so the branding appears slightly different across the sites. This has never been an issue with SEO in the past, as they have all ranked reasonably well (and still do), however, it is the main domain/website that has disappeared.

Id say its highly likely you've suffered an algorithmic penalty, or there are larger issues.

This is probably aided by the fact you've got 9 other versions of essentially the same site, if im honest I dont think there is much advice that could be given that would accurately represent the problem, given the scale of the problems you've already highlighted.

It really needs someone who knows what they are looking at to give you an educated overview rather than a few forum posts guessing what it might be.
