Hi Guys, I'm hoping someone might be able to help. About 7 years ago, I redirected 4 websites to another website (owned by someone else) for the purpose of branding and link building. Since that time we have used his brand to gather links and my websites have expired, but my content remains on his website.
We are now having to create a legal contract, as he is taking on new directors. We are now having to think about what happens if we need to part company. I am concerned that separating the websites will mean I loose my rankings on the content I own. I am looking for a fix for this problem. Any ideas would be gratefully received.
I have another website that isn't doing much, but the domain name as about 13 years old and has a low domain authority. I am wondering if I point this domain to my partners domain and link build to both domain names, in the event of a separation am I likely to see a significant decrease in traffic and domain authority? Is there a way he could take his domain name and we redirect his content without a negative impact to my content?
Many thanks in advance.
