Wix site optimisation

Hi

Can anyone advise me how Wix sites are for optimising please. I'm experienced at development & SEO but never with a Wix site - I did look at the code of a site once and was taken aback by the amount of bloat.

Wix and SEO doesnt really belong in the same sentance, although Wix has improved considerably over the last few years, its still a platform that isnt flexible enough to do any technical auditing.

Wix should only be used by those who can not afford to get a basic website setup or lacks the knowledge to do so them selves.

Completely agree with mollierhodes. My daughter had her original business website on Wix and I carried out the SEO work. Great results consistently on page 1 of Google.
Do be prepared to check out where things are and then stick to good, solid SEO principles.
