Hey everyone,
Knowing instantly when your website goes down is crucial for preventing a potential loss of revenue or reputation. While many people think this service is expensive, you can actually create your own "monitoring tool" in minutes without paying anything.
In this guide, I'll explain the basic steps to create an uptime monitor for a website using RobotAlp's free plan.
Step 1: Create a Free Account and Add a Monitor
First, we need to sign up for the system that will perform the monitoring.
On this screen, you will enter the information for the site you want to track.
Step 3: Track and Check Notifications
That's it! RobotAlp will now start checking your site at the intervals you've set.

In this guide, I'll explain the basic steps to create an uptime monitor for a website using RobotAlp's free plan.
Step 1: Create a Free Account and Add a Monitor
First, we need to sign up for the system that will perform the monitoring.
- Go to https://robotalp.com/free-website-monitoring/ and create a free account.
- After logging in, navigate to the Monitors > Uptime section from the menu on the left.
- On the screen that appears, click the "+ New Uptime Monitor" button.
On this screen, you will enter the information for the site you want to track.

- Monitor Name: Give your monitor a name you can easily recognize (e.g., "My Personal Blog").
- The url: Enter the full address of the website you want to track (e.g., https://myexampleaddress.com).
- Check interval: Choose how often you want your site to be checked. On the free plan, you can set this to as low as every 5 minutes.
Step 3: Track and Check Notifications
That's it! RobotAlp will now start checking your site at the intervals you've set.

- You can see the status of your newly created monitor in the Uptime Monitors list.
- If your website experiences an accessibility issue, you will receive an instant alert to the email address you used to sign up. When your site is back online, you will receive another notification informing you that it's active again.
