I use notepad++, I like to see what I am doing and know that it is only me that can affect the coding, I don't want a program in there messing around. However I have found adobe muse to be a fun program to play around in when coding.

Honestly, I have never used dreamweaver, but I don't see the reason for paying for software when there are things just as good for free.
