Ever used a free forum host?

Have you ever used a free forum host? What one did you use? Do you still use it?

I used ForuMotion and ProBoards when I first got into forum'ing. I wouldn't dream of using them now.

I did the same sort of thing, using pretty much all the free forum hosts out there. Now, I wouldn't dare go use one

I used forumotion for a long time but don't any more.

i never really used forumotion, but i have tried freeforums just to see what you actually get but its pointless, because you get lots of adverts on your forums and a big fee to export your database if your want to move to paid hosting.

They ain't the only ones that do this but you may as well just pay for hosting yourself. Cheaper in the long run.

Just that the others one I used seemed to be better.

Less ads, better support, better features(like forumotion add extra features to help you out) and more...

I prefer the mybb free forum hosts.

When I first started foruming, i used forumotion, will never use it again.

@Subz I used icyboards which was pretty good because they always added plugins and themes quickly after requesting them.
