Question golf affiliates?

I have a low/no traffic site which i know isnt helpful when trying to find affiliates, anyone used any golf affiliates? (even if they require high traffic), also whats some good ways to find affiliates, would it ever work just emailing golf companies and asking even if they dont have an affiliate program?
