Qualities of the best icon designer

[EdwardHall]

My sister and I are currently interested in hiring this icon design expert our brother recommended. We need someone who can do some personalised web icons and a bit of illustration for our two blog sites. But before hiring that designer, is there any particular qualities should we look out for? You know, just to ensure that we’ll be working with a reliable and qualified designer.
