I have Google Analytics and AWStats available for my site but I never know which one to believe. I didn't expect them to be identical on basic stats such as pageviews, but they are miles apart, here's an an example:
JanFebMar
AWStats136343835561
Google Analytics248735923

So I was wondering what do people use?

Google analytics Is most reliable, AWStats counts every single request including junk, scrapers and bots, where as Google Analytics counts real visitors.

Best to disregard AWstats completely

Thanks for the replies, I suspected that AWStats was including more than it should.
