FAQs on every page?

I'm working with a digital marketing agency to write landing pages, blogs and so on for their clients.

In every brief, the SEO manager wants me to include FAQs of 4-8 questions for schema markup.

That means an FAQ section on every service page, informational page, location page and blog. And that's on top of a separate dedicated FAQ page for each website.

I know that FAQs can be good for SEO. But this seems excessive to me.

Assuming I cover unique questions on every page and my answers are accurate, articulate and useful, is this likely to be good or bad for SEO?

Ahh my friend, this method is absurd. He might want this at most to appear as a source for the AI. Besides, FAQ snippets on Google aren't getting as many impressions as they used to. If there are pages that seem absurd, don't do them. Just do the necessary ones.
