Favourite Forum Software?

I vote for XenForo. I have never seen it before I started posting here - I rarely sign up to forums and all the old ones I have been using have vBulleting - and what can I say... This is the best forum platform I have ever seen. Its fast, nice looking, and has numerous social features that none of its competitors offer. I will definitely use this if I ever start a forum.

I think that SMF is the best free forum software simply because it has the most features, themes and plugins of all of the forum softwares. I have never experimented with paid forum softwares before like vBulletin, but I have used them before and I really love vBulletin. If I was to have the choice between SMF and vBulletin then I would choose vBulletin but I cannot complain about SMF considering it is free. I think that all the other free ones look a little scrappy.

Well, I've only used vBulletin and phpBB, so I guess I'd have to go with those. It's been a long time since I've created a forum, I imagine much has changed.
