Photoshop or Gimp?

GIMP is a free and open-source raster graphics editor used for image manipulation. GIMP has similar functionality to Photoshop but has a different user interface. GIMP 2.6 was used to create nearly all of the art in Lucas the Game.

I used both and was always been a big fan of photoshop!

Photoshop is much better than GIMP. Both have great tools & edit the picture suitably but the real pixels operator is best in photoshop compared to GIMP.

As a free alternative to photoshop people should try photopea, you don't even have to install anything, it is all on the website

Gimp is pretty good, but it depends on what you're using it for.
