Hello, just have a quick query and wondering if anyone has any insights -
If your call-to-action button is at the hero section of the home page and most people generally click on it, does Google see that as a bounce off the actual website?
Our website has a "Book an Appointment" button as soon as someone lands on the home page and we suspect that most visitors make use of the button almost immediately, which takes them to our dedicated booking platform. It doesn't close the actual website, but it opens a new tab with the online booking.
Can Google make a difference between that and someone just landing on the home page, not doing anything and coming off the website? The bounce rate for our home page is just under 40% which isn't great (although we are consistently ranking on 1st page for main keywords). Analytics shows that a lot of the visitors are just clicking straight on the button and going to the booking platform.
Many thanks in advance!
